Lord Jesus, I ask of you today...
To bless us all this Christmas day!

Bless us with Your Peace and Your Love,
Bless us with joy and peace from Above!

Let Your Light shine on, through the year,
And dry our sadness and our pain and tears.

Teach us to love and enjoy one another,
Teach us not to go against our brothers.

Teach us patience and compassion, too..
Let us look towards You and abide by You.

Teach us NOT to hate, teach us to care;
Teach us that You are EVERYWHERE!

Let us not judge by color or by race,
And let us look upon Your Sweet Face.

Let us realize that YOU are the Reason..
You, Jesus, ARE the Reason for this Season!

Let us not indulge in our gift buying or greed;
Teach us to search Your Word and READ!

Teach us about Love, Joy, and Hope,
And teach us a better way to cope!

Let our iniquities not destroy the holiday cheer..
For if it were NOT for you, we wouldn't be here!!

And above all, bless all of my wonderful friends,
Especially my friends who are at AuthorsDen!!
