I wrote this to my cousin, Tracy, her daughter, Hannah was killed in a car accident 4 years ago and last year on her birthday, Tracy was having and bad day--I wrote her this poem after we hung up the phone with each other. After I wrote it, I sent it to her. I just started writing and deep in my mind I wanted to get through to Tracy and let her know that Hannah loves her.

The Breeze
(To Tracy Smith)

Memories tell a million stories
Pictures make it easier to show
So look at me and donít be sad
For this is what I want you to know

I have my beautiful angel wings
Which soar me through the air
I am all around you everyday
The breeze blowing through your hair

I am never far away
Iíll always be in sight
For brightest star in the sky
Is ours to share at night

Iím the first ray of light
When the sun starts to shine
When you look at the moon
The face in it is mine

I am watching over you
Every night and day
A piece of me with you
Guiding you along the way

When you need to talk
I am always listening to you
Close your eyes and listen
My spirit will shine through

When you are feeling sad
And you begin to weep
Always remember this mommy
I am forever yours to keep

My body may be gone
But my love pureÖtrue
So always remember this
I Miss and Love You Too!!

Tracy surely found some measure of comfort from your lovely lines. God bless.

Though the circumstances are so very heartbreaking, this is so very soothing for any aching heart, God bless you

Be always safe,
