This is a sing-song poem that just popped into my head the other morning. It really has no sense nor story, but I may be successful in planting it into your head. :)
|
Five days into the valley and then
the sun goes down and up again
casting shadows about this place.
The seventh sun now lights my face.
The valley looks like peace to me.
More tranquil than the deepest sea.
Somewhere here a heart resides
that will love me until I die

I love the way you "drive" the words in this poem, Lori. I love to play with words as well when inspiration strikes me. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

If only I could make a rhyme
I'd praise your words in double time.
Apologies. -gene.
