Christians today have a hard time believing in God.

Where are the Christians?
Why are they not on their knees?
They have hurt God, so much, he can't even see.
Blinded by the bar room brawl and by the girl on the street, that looks cannot deny.
The drugs and booze lighten up the load.
Then, Satan comes in.
After the night is done, you head for home.
In your mind you can't understand why you and other Dad's are having such a hard time.
You open up the door, for your ears to be rung.
Your family is in shambles and you wonder why?
Your wife starts to cry, your children have fought.
Bills piled on the table, shoes on the floor.
You stagger hopelessly, to the bedroom door.
As you fall asleep, you fail to see that, you just lost your family.
Satan won the battle but, God is going to win the war.
Where is your Bible? Where are the prayers?
Have you forgotten how to pray?
That wife and those children need your prayers today.
When will you kneel to his call?
I thought you were a Christian and you knew that God cares.
I thought you knew what the alter was for. God will meet you there.
So come. Come to the alter, God is waiting there.

hELLO Sandra,

A truthful yet concise write. Sadly most "profess" Christianity but do not "possess" Christ, so there's really no spiritual transformation inside. "By the fruit you will know them."

For all who have wandered away, God knows how to bring them all back into the fold. Trust in God and he will lead you home....

The Christians you're writing about, are the ones who have not totally surrendered their hearts to God. The entire book of Rev. explains there will be a falling away of the church. We must remember to trust in Jesus Christ, and not in human beings.
God bless.

Beautiful reminder, Sandra, that God is waiting to hear from us, waiting to answer prayers. Thank you, well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
