The Real Thirteenth Step: Discovering Confidence, Self-Relia

ďA well written, important book that provides an invaluable corrective to the dependency orientation of the recovery movement. It lucidly points the way to the next step..

This is a summary about Jesus.

Jesus walked the road to Calvary, to take our heavy burdens away.

His walk lightened our loads. This enabled our own crosses, as Christains, not to be so heavy.

No! Jesus did not have to walk the beaten path.  He was whipped, spit upon, and torn for us.

Jesus paid the price for all of us, as he took those stripes for us.

Mary felt Jesus' pain. Mary gave Jesus the strength to go on down the road to Calvary.

She looked into his eyes to encourage him, when he had no strength to go on.

God sheilded his own Son, by giving him an Angel to carry him, as she prayed for him.

Here tears were pure, as they fell down her cheeks.

She held the memories, of his childhood, in her mind.

Always great to read good religious writing as this. With the Easter season coming this year, this is great start for me to ponder over Jesus death and ressurection too.

AWESOME! I have thought of this often and wondered how Mary felt during that time. Her heart must have broken! EXCELLENT POEM!

I've thought about that some: Mary feeling Jesus' pain. Mothers are unique that way.

One could only imagine the torment she felt as she stood by the side lines praying. Well said...
