Dedicated to my friend Karen Lynn Vidra the Texas tornado,

Jesus often urged his disciples to pray and to be constant in prayer ...

He himself set an example. The Father's name

was always on his lips, and at night he used to go away

to some solitary place where, as St Luke says, he

"Continued in prayer to God."

"Watch and pray," he told his friends; "Pray at all

times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication.

To that end keep alert with all perseverance."

The hard to perceive and wrapped in mystery,

Set in the cave and hidden in the depth, primordial ...

smaller than the small, greater than the great,

is the Self of all things, the One Controller ...

(Katha Up; 2.12, 20; 5.12)

She or He who Knows That hidden in the sacred cave,

has cut the knot of ignorance ...

Vast, heaven, of unthinkable form,

and more minute than the minute, It shines forth,

It is further than the far, yet here quite close,

Set in the secret place of the heart ... Mundaka

I believe in prayer as well. I cannot tell how many time I have been "bailed out" by angels. Thank you, Li. Love and best wishes to you,
