in that moment ...

my heart was opened
as I leaned into the arms of the tree ...

The birds stopped talking
and their silence came apon me
I wandered why?

With half-closed eyes
I saw the rising sun
as if thru the eyes of the birds ...

The Ibis call out to proclaim the dawn.
Haai, Haai, Kuku Ru bird of peace
Slowly, Slowly, You Rise Up
a cacophony of colors

Sometimes it takes so long
mosquitos bite
The Light that lights the Eye of my Lord

The dawn that comes Before
The Dawn at dusk,
I live for that moment
when my heart is opened ...

Good write, made me think you are a natural at it. Supreme in intelligence and willing to share your moments to us from dawn to dusk, both exciting times of the day for me.

lovely and sharp imagery here...one of the things I espcially like is the layers of meaning. This piece could well be a nature piece, a spiritual piece or a lovely metaphor for the love of a lover. All in all, this is excellent work.
