Her name is Loneliness Blue
she’ll ride your back
and break you down
and wear you out;
she’ll steal your heart
and lame your spirit
and kill your hope;
she’ll beat you up
and choke your dignity
and smother your pride

Her name is Loneliness Blue
she’ll leave you in doubt
and in shame and in sorrow;
she’ll leave you in grief
and in hatred and in pain;
she’ll do anything to get
your attention
and she’ll try her hardest to blame
but most of all
she’ll not stop until you feel
her pain

Her name is Loneliness Blue
it seems by now I would know
what to do:

Show her love
be kind to her
listen to what she has to say
spend some time with her
do it everyday
in some imaginative and creative way
who knows her name may change to
Happy Faye

Let's hope so.

You can go to visit my anti-genocide site at http://www.voicesforAfrica.homestead.com/index.html . I have a poem on page 2. You can also find most of my poems on the internet by entering my name in Google's search engine.

Take care.
