Tea Party

About tea parties and festivity.

All little girls love to have a tea party
They love the little cakes and scones heartily.
I used to make cinnnamon toasts for my 4 daughters.
When they were ill or after school they had them often.

You used your special tea settings and pretty  plates.
And you gave them lots of food on their dates.
Birthdays, were fun times with a tea party of food.
That really did put them in a party mood.

Dressing up in jewels and party hats of all kinds.
That were brought from the closet as all kinds of finds.
Given as favors to take home with them.
My girls had fun birthday tea parties with their friends.

When two of my nieces were little girls, a young lady from church invited them to a tea party, and they remember it still. These are the kind of special times that people treasure for years and years...and you have used your gift of words to allow all of us to partake.
-God bless you Lois. ")

tea parties, the first sign of sharing and recognition of developing social skills -- I remember when my two daughters had tea parties with their imaginary friends, and invited my wife and I -- long ago, yet so fondly recalled --tea parties are truly special events -- it sounds as though you too, truly enjoyed those with your girls -- peace and love-- JMW
