Flowers in the desert

Once was a desert as dry as could be ,
but the colours of spring came a rescued me .

Miracles and wonders ,
sunshine and rain .
Life in the deserts all over again .


Songs In The Sky

No cage can trap the song of a bird ,
in springtime the sweetest sounds are heard .
They fill the sky from daylight to dusk ,
song birds in spring are out there to busk .

In The Meadows -
Growing through the green grass of spring are natures own offering .
Walk over the meadow and you'll find ,
a tranquil place a peace of mind .

On The Water

Springtime on a boat ,
floating on a lake ,
sometimes everybody needs to take a break .


Step out of the rat race and into a place
take in the sunset of an open space .

Cute Animals
Little chicks born in spring are the cutest little thing ,
farmyard animals at play are the sign of spring today .

Still Moments

In the garden with my baby .
We smell a rose .
We touch a tree .
We see a litle butterfly ,
we kiss and then we say goodbye .

Sensing the Season

Sometimes between the spring and the summer
leaves grow thick on the trees and the fruits of the earth are captured like jasmine scent on a breeze .

Mindful Muse
I'm running through the meadows of my mind for what to say ,
the gift of life has wrapped us up in wonder here today .

In the rainbows arch there is a corner stone in the sky where such precious things brings the sunshine in my eye .


In The Garden

Around the garden spring brings welcome colours ,
all over the place .
Sculptures and pottery are placed with tulips in an open space .

In The Park


People walk around with dogs on leads and say hello to the passers by .
In the park there are bench seats to sit on or a spot on the grass to lie .

Spring View

Waves on the ocean in gentle motion .
I gaze at the sea not specifically to see anything but this day in spring .

New blossoms on the trees .
Hear the buzzing of the bees ,
Smell the flowers as you pass .
Enjoy it and make it last ,
its such a beautiful thing
to have a walk in the spring .


Space For Spring


Springtime has many things to do .
The experience is waiting for you .
Take a boat and escape on a lake .
Find a friend and enjoy the space you make .

Why does water freeze ?
Natures mysteries .
The wonder of God a moment to seize .
Like fruit bearing trees the wide rising seas .

In valleys I see natures pure beauty .
A stretched out answer why it has to be .
Creativity ,
gifts for you and me .





A Fragrant Life


Its divine ,
springtime ,
I softly said once or twice .

Touch the air
kiss the sky .
Fragrance is a spice of life .

Sounds and Smell

I hear the sound of a lawn mower shatter the silence again .

Brief is the fresh smell of just cut grass that lies their after the rain .


The Wonder Of It All

Do you ever wonder at the beauty of everything ,

Just take in Gods creation,
'its such a beautiful thing .





Evening Fall

Evening falls and I take time to talk about the day that's been .
I remember things that happened and some of the things I've seen .


Sight And Sound

Do you ever wonder why birds sing or flap their wings in flight ,
or wonder how in springtime gardens are a colourful sight .

Take a good look at things ,
the sun and rain ,
the clouds and thunder .
This world in which we live is truly a world full of wonder .


A Place Called Spring

A place around our home.
A place we cannot own.
A place that we can smell .
A place with taste as well .
A place where we can feel .
A place where we can heal .

Sunrise

Good morning Lord and thank you for the air that I breathe .
I see the light and pray hat my eyesight won't ever leave .
Racing after pickpockets ,
plucking petals from a flower ,
The child sees springtime as a friend and runs with it afar ,


Children At Play

The child ran with his kite that was lifted up in the sky ,
high above the clouds it flew and the sun said what care I .
He watched it glide through the sky on a windy springtime day ,
it rose about a million miles and then it flew away .


A Spring Morning


All over the earth the sun rose and Gods spirit moved as zillions of birds sang .
Millions of poems were written and trillions of prayers were said and people smiled as church bells rang .


The Miracle Of Spring


Springtime is full of rare extraordinary days .
We see the world come to life in many different ways .
The blossoms on the trees return a lot whiter .
The sun seems to shine now a little brighter .

Springtime is the return of life that died away .
Gods miracle is visible -
as clear as day .


The Season Queen -


Spring showers underneath a rainbow .
At twilight dressed in an evening glow of sunsets and sunrises she commands the flowers to grow .



Spring Whisper -

Blown by the breeze she never begged my pardon
as she drifted through my mind with her poetry .

I saw the Iriss in her blue eyes as she walked in from the garden with some spring whispers for me .

Spring Farewell

Rounding off words as the morning went with the echoes of a romantic touch her beautiful petals fell .


Springtime swept in through the door and spread a carpet of colour everywhere and then she whispered fare thee well .
