This was the very first poem I'd ever written.

Flowers

So many places so many faces that
I will never know
But that's the way things seem to go
The earth keeps turning and the sun
keeps burning
And the flowers all will grow

"But that's the way things seem to go," certainly speaks truth about life. Many will come and go, but a few will become a forever cherished garden of beautiful flowers. Loved this work!

Smiles,
Dorothy

This is awesome. I love flowers and this is a wonderful and beautiul prose and amazing that it is your first one. Inspirational and right up there with "Trees" by Joyce Kilmer (one of my favorites). Thanks for sharing, Gloria
