GOD-ME-YOU

This deception has me

“GOING”

Around in circles

Around in this maze

Walking in darkness

This deception has me lost

I can't seem to find my way out

God has opened my eyes

Let the light shine in me

Gave me his truth

To see this deception isn't you

It's been me

I let so many in

Put so many before Him

Thinking I was giving His love

Never giving it to myself

So I was cheating me

Not putting His love in me first

Truthful and honest. We must let His love come in first before we can love really give love, and most often it is "us" that we cheat. Nice poem. Cynthia
