original

it is true ,every year it seem we separate as family united,a son or daughter graduates then leaves home, why? Why can't families stay together?where iis it written children have to leave home after a certain age?Someone once said a family is a stronger unit together then divided. Can't we juststay together, why is that so bad or wrong ?Every time a daughter or son leaves after they graduate parents always talk how they miss their children.Stay together awhile longer, where is the harm in that maybe then the son or daughter won't be nervous about leaving, love is what makes a family and a country, not sending children off to wars or drafting them at a certain age, love your family until you tired of the then leave, but not never stop loving them, they were there when you needed them,be there for them when they need you. Never stop loving each other, love is the ultimate weapon we have .Peace, love, and justice for all. end

Richard,

It would be wonderful if family could live together in harmony. At some point children must leave and make their own life. I remember very fondly my growing up years. I am the oldest of eight and we all played and fought but we loved each other and we all knew it.

Love and blessings,
Linda

I wouldn't call it a poem either, Connie . . .

I wouldn't call this a poem, Richard, but it's an interesting point of view, a little old-fashioned, but to me, that's a good thing to be!
