I sat for an hour today and played with a little red
Stress ball, tossing that little sucker in the air
Dropping it half the time but the point is, I suddenly
Realized I hadn’t thought of problems or illness
Or anything for about an hour, because of that little
Red ball… I guess we all have to take our relief where
It comes and for me, today, it was a little red stress ball
And a glorious hour without a problem on my mind

I have one of those too, and you're right they work wonders. Nice writing.

red ball, green apples, steel ball.. short ascetic times trying our finger plasticity withdraw problems and pleasures... just a good abstention feeling from our submission to collective ends.

I love you ..insomnia partner.
