I’d like to keep you Here by my side And call you sweetheart I’d like to feed you Apples, oranges and plums I’d like for you to stay Where I can pet you And ride you long Into the day Across fields of summer wheat Embraced by the sun’s heat Just you and I Gathering stardust Across the sky Staring into heaven I’d like for you to stay Here and be my lover My pink fruit With your delicious eyes I’d like to keep you here And call you My sweetheart
