It’s About You
Ask me why I love you
Do you have the time?
For me to enumerate
The countless mannerisms
That for me illuminate
My reasons why
To you I so resonate
Don’t you see?
What you mean to me?
There is no doubt
That I care for you
So you see life’s about
Me loving you so much
From hilltops I want to shout
There is no debate
What you do to me
From the moment we met
I knew you were the one
For me to connect
To all that is beautiful about you
The perfect love I would select
I want to tell the world
How happy you’ve made me
Your presence amazes and confounds
And excites all my senses
Until my love abounds
I want you to know
My whole world, your love surrounds
