Daylight tears at my soul
Because I never want to let go
Of someone as beautiful as you
With kisses as moist as the morning dew
You hold on tight and never let go
Of dreams meant for two long ago

Daylight steals the night and never gives in
To lovers intent to sleep again
A nighttime of laughter and spontaneity
For two committed to frivolity
Stay with me and close the blinds
To the outside world of humankind

Time stands still for two who dare
To steal precious moments from a world of despair
Shut out those who would say be ashamed
For they know not how to extinguish the flame
Of desire between two who were once dead
To life’s pleasures that lie ahead

Go away daylight and stay no more
Leave us alone to enjoy the rapport
Darkness brings solitude to those who delight
To frolic together and hold still the night
Nocturnal nuances await our elopement
From life’s cruel urgency and discontent

Fanciful reading, writing delicate stuff like this from your heart shows you are really in love and in love with life itself.
