Lay still and let me look at you
Eyes that sparkle like the morning dew
A figure so beautiful I canít believe
Why you choose to spend time with me
I donít deserve one so divine
Let me go and save your dime

If you stay with me and donít pretend
To love me forever through thick and thin
Your eyes donít deceive me because I know
Your love for me will never grow
Beyond our present world of fantasy
Where deceit prevails between you and me

This game of ours must surely end
We canít continue to live in sin
Walk away now and clear your mind
From fools like me where love is blind
Save yourself and leave me be
Take back your life and become free

But if you cannot do this, then stay a while
Perhaps reconsider your inner child
Who laughs and plays with stupendous delight
With one so vulnerable and lonely at night
Lay still and let me look at you
A love everlasting and feels like new
