|Sometimes letting go is not a choice, but a necessity and moving on (if there really is such a thing) is a journey. The love remains...forever. There are joys and blessings all around us, but when the heart suffers such a loss, they are often difficult to see and appreciate. Not sure there is an "escape". Tugs at this heart! ~Hugs, Elizabeth|

|My book '
We share much the same thoughts and interest. I had to let go of the past and thus became a new creation in Christ and my recent book
The Garden Path and poem The Garden Within would interest you. I had a out of body experience while letting go of the past which changed my life and because of this I became the person God created me to be. Regards Marguerite The Little Flower on Authors Den

|The layout suggests upward movement already, as the desired outcome.
Compelling imagery on both sides of the see-saw produce resourceful states of mind. Thus cultivated and charmed an inevitably positive outcome will emerge. Captivating, caring, tangible descriptions.

|What you feel is "Human" and totally understandable as most go through this period...the question is the amount of time...for every individual is different and the time needed is varied. You will know when you stop asking yourself this question. You will know. Excellent expression.

|Through the time of our lives we so often say or do that which eventually we regret. Hopefully words or deeds may be presented to overcome that which at time we may come to regret. Sometimes...

|Oh, Diana, there are such sweet and gentle thoughts that trickle from between the lines of your writing. I loved how you stated that your feet are "planted" in the Garden of my Heart. Here you remain, devoted, with the desire to enjoy life once more, but the mere thought of it sends feelings of guilt speeding through your very being. How I wish for you to soon be able to break free...to delight in life once more. It will happen; it's simply a matter of time. My three sisters and one of my brothers have all experienced what you are going through. It was difficult for all four of them, but God did not allow them to be in that frame of mind forever. My prayer is that you will "escape" soon and can do it without self-criticism. I hope my words have been as tender as I am convinced you are.
Love and prayers,

and the beauty of your "eternal devotion"
regret can be a beautiful thing
it really can as it teaches us
with such valuable lessons
through loss or through happenstances
mistakes are worthy to embrace
