Extremely deep and meaningful poetry here Rage and very well written,
the almost gothic and sinister picture adds very nicely to the ambience of the piece.
thank you for sharing

A powerful soliloquy/sermon on the modern individual's failure to effectively discern significance and take responsibility for our personal and collective experiences of what we call realityl A deeply satisfying write that's definitely worth a few more reads. Thank you for posting it.

A lot of what you say is true Rage, and I agree with it!...I'm always trying to get people to do their own research find things out for themselves, using common sense, with balanced reasoning. Don't just let others do all your thinking for you. Elections are coming up and most people vote for who some tv person or hollywood star tells them to. Others do what their parents always did. We need more people who take time to research things for themselves, in all areas. Politics, environment religion, spirituality, childrens schooling etc. That is the only way to improve this confused world.

The life line of man remains an adventure ongoing. The evil lives on as centuries before and the beliefs of others that don't run in the same direction , continuously makes martyrs of so many amd nay sayers of the rest. In the individual, there lies a differece either accepted or denied. I am a Unitarian, so I accept believing for all religions an individual's decision. With this collective positivity on religion...we experience and exude harmony toward others. This works for me as I seek the harmony that is the only answer.

This reads as a intellectualized conspiracy theory in itself.
The problem with bad-mouthing others of spiritual conviction is that you leave yourself open to the same treatment. No one knows everything, and those that purport to do so are diluded.
Let the warriors be warriors and swing their swords under their own convictions. In the end we will know for sure who was enlightened and who wasn't. Until then ... extend a helping hand and love thy neighbor. |
