Allan Watt's reality check (you need RealPlayer to be able to see this):

The churches where you pray and sing
To a generous and compassionate God
Educational systems teaching anything
To even the laziest, most oblivious sod
You have science to invent all you need
Making life a happy time that you enjoy
In which you feel content and complete
With competent companies that employ
All the honorable and hard working folk
Your progress and affluence are no joke

Inflated with a profusion of useless data
That enables you to perform many tricks
Which will come in handy sooner or later
Like when there are issues for you to fix
That barricade the progress of humanity
Or cause pain where the sun don’t shine
Life is an abundant collection of variety
From which you can't escape or resign
It enables you to produce and consume
Offering total freedom inside your tomb

You’ve radio, TV, papers and magazines
No need to do any thinking of your own
You pay a lot of money to buy machines
Like a car, a computer or cellular phone
That make you happy twenty four seven
Life is very nice as long as you comply
You feel like you are in seventh heaven
From already long time before you die
Life in this world is so easy and secure
So much to relish and little to endure

Do not pay attention to the paranoid
And never believe conspiracy theorists
These scary people you had best avoid
The world they rant about only exists
Inside messed up and deceived brains
There are no secret societies or elite
They’re echoing anarchist campaigns
Falsely accusing you of infinite greed
If people die anywhere it’s their fault
The army just avenges radical assault

Enjoy the profit you worked hard for
And distractions you need to reload
Worship the deities that you implore
As the fine privileges of your abode
A reward of those who care for you
There is no cause for notion or guilt
The administration firm to continue
To guard the country that you build
Be happy because you so deserve it
Trust your leadership to preserve it

You dream of wooly white rabbits
Hopping about below fluffy clouds
Where an amazing people inhabits
A law abiding land without doubts
Some may think that it’s paradise
Where there are no Adam and Eve
Nor apples that taste rather nice
Or snake that causes you to leave
The finest country this world has
The nation this world’s gods bless

I think this is great!
I get tired from the play of world without sense,
And the Holy Light enlightening my ardency essence.
Your poems are for true understanding, not for the faint of heart
I admire all your writes, though some be bitter as boxcutters and kisses.
