I think we all have that special place that calms us, providing peace.

Gentle breezes of persuasion

Touch the skin upon my face

As I sit under an Elm Tree

In this lovely hidden place

Past the orchard, near the valley

Past the stream, there in the lea

Lies a truly hidden paradise

That was placed there just for me

I visit there quite often

As the beauty calls to me

I sit, I think, become inspired

I set my heart then free

Upon the winds it flies around

It lifts to heavens door

To view the beauty of below

And the greenery it wore

I sit among the many trees

That wrap their branches strong

Protecting me, they’re shading me

It’s here that I belong

The sounds of birds there singing

With the buzzing of the bees

Becomes music that’s inviting

That calls me on the breeze

When you’re looking for some quiet

If you’re looking then for me

You’ll find me in my special place

In the blanket of the trees
