Nodding in the noon-day sun

Over by the vine-covered wall

Very drowsy, oh, what fun!

Eyes half shut, watching leaves fall.

Memories are being stored;

But, the moment goes too soon.

Evening comes, the wind is chill.

Run away, sun, here comes the moon.
