I’m face to face with randomness
A person, not myth, yet random so true ;
I really met this randomness
Yet purely, entirely coincidence
So tall and close to mid of night
Likened to mine, in color of skin;
With little more time, so much I’d know
Yet seconds, just seconds, was all we had;
I’ll stray away, I’ll let it go, I’ll pick my mind
and bring it home...
For deeply beautiful, confessed in truth
It never ever was mine to keep.
