Things were simple then.

Childhood.

Andrea Jane aged 2, in butterfly dress designed by her grandmother Florence Inniss. Much love to my nan now in Heaven. (I still have Rosie!) :)

Things were simple then ...

Looking back to childhood

A sparkle in my eye

I clutched my teddy

And rosie was my doll

As the years flew by

I cried when Teddy fell apart

A new one could not replace him

not even restuffing

nor candy or a chocolate muffin.

Those things were not the same.

I felt somehow to blame.

Looking back I see why now

I had to let go

But I loved him

I'd not forgotten

The times we played together

Ted was my friend

I'd "love" him to the end

Looking back to childhood

Things were simple then

Mum, dad, siblings and friends

Grandma, grandad, aunts, uncles

cousins, dog, cat, birds and fish

school, home, dinner

a homemade dish

birthdays, presents, parties

Church on sundays,

sunday best

I miss those days of childhood

Things were perfect then.
