                 Crumpled by Dumpster

Tell her.

Need beer.

Need toilet paper & garbage bags [30 gal.]

Why did I say. . .Jesus Mary and. . .why?

Buy those awful cookies she scarfs.

Leave message.

Again?

Whatchacalls got shreds of coconut on top.

Tell her.

How much time does a person need?

Buy more legal pads.

Staples better have yellow.  Hate this pink crap.

Conference call, 11 a.m. Tues.  Don't take No.

Call Sprint.

Can't go on this way.

Sunlight hit the stoop as she was directing the moving
men.  Hair red as a never-used penny

Like seeing her roots.  Freckles.  Chocolate kiss eyes

Take sheets to laundromat. . .or buy?

Cookies on aisle 7.   8-?

Tell her.

Stupid pencil.  Barely write.

Sorry pen.  Loves the Parker for her birthday. . .late

Chips, frozen tacos, salsa, sour cream, cheese,  see if
Food Lion  has pencils.  Candles for when she comes back?

Tall red tapers and a bouquet.  Irises, if they have them.

Beg

Enjoyed tremendously this absorbing swirl of consciousness making its way through mundane practicalities and emotional tension. As with much of the best your work--to me--it illustrates the tight rope of anxiety (or is it sensitivity?) stretched between the nonchalance and quiet desperation that composes so many of our lives. And that somehow ends up tossed out of our souls CRUMPLED BY DUMPSTER.

Hi Pea:

A very intriguing write, and very thought-provoking! Something like a slice of life and is honest and real. Good to read something like this.

Love this, Pea! One could live this simple list for life...or at least I could...what more do you need...maybe a few rhinestones and Rit! I printed this out and magneted it to my fridge with a ceramic pea in the pod I have!--->it's a keeper.

Pea

Only you, brilliant you, could have written this wonderfully original and imaginative piece..

And do I detect Pea... that you have been afflicted with that deadly cookie craving, instigated by Ogre Ed and Lady A Pax...:)

Loved it

Love

Peter
