hug coffee and a bagel.
keep the slap of slippers
from fraying. Stall before
turning the ringer back
on. Risking the bathroom
mirror. Bags, sags -- Lie,
blame you, lie-!
of thunder out there. Close
it off. Things seem to take
so long. Didn't use to
tugs at a clumsily built shelf
in the back of a mind more
of a mine. Shaddup.
pinches waist, belly, chest.
Shoes weren't tight at the store.
positive! New day, new you!
Exact moment the dog jumps.
Second cup sprays.
Crumbs grow crumbs..
Got to find something else
to change to. Mop up.
