We’ll never forget where we were on that day
At eight-forty six when the announcer did say,
The Twin Tower was struck,
Oh, dear Lord was it someone’s bad luck?
We’ll never forget just seven minutes later
We learned dear Lord our country under siege
We pray dear Lord,
We were down on our knees.
When next we did learn our Pentagon was
Our hearts stood still, we couldn’t look back.
We remember praying and standing still
What’s next dear Lord
We felt the chill.
Flight 93 was meant to be
A target too, but yet you see.
The passengers, they held out to hope
They bravely stopped,
the fate of that flight.
They held on to you Lord
knowing their plight.
And when they did go,
their lives took the toll,
He said so clearly,
