OVERWHELMED
No one said it was easy
Living day by day
The hills and valleys wait for me
Growing older along the way.
I woke up in the morning
Who’s reflection did I see
The person looking in the mirror
Staring back at me?
Along the roads that I’ve been on
There were good times and some bad
Some days when trouble came
The days when I was sad.
Some days are full of sunshine
Others full of rain
A mix of highs and lows
The rainbows always came.
Hold on to hope
Knowing the Lord does care
He holds me in His Hand
And gives me grace to share.
Another dawn I wake to see
The day is so brand new
It’s full of love and hope
There are lots of things to do.
