You held her in Your arms

Here in the rocking chair

Rocked her all night long

That’s how we know You care.

The tiny little body

So frail and so brand new

That tiny little hand

Keeps reaching up to You

We’re holding on to hope

We’ve placed our trust in You

We’ve lifted up her life

Others are praying too

We’re holding on to hope

As we’ve done all through the years

Hold her in Your arms

As You wipe away our fears

We look to You above Most High

In the darkest of the day

We say to you our Lord

Please hear us when we pray.

Hold her in your arms dear Lord

Restore her like brand new

We know You can heal her now

Our faith alone in You.
