Become a Fan

When I realized this morning how many friends I needed to pray for, this poem came to me. I hope you feel the comfort and love of the Holy Spirit in this poem too my friend.

DEAR LORD,

I prayed for you this morning

As I do most every day

I asked the Lord to bless you

And hold you close I pray.

I pray that you will let Him

Into your heart my friend

It’s then that you will feel

A peace that will not end.

I’m on my knees this morning

And praying through the day

To lead and guide and help you

It’s on my knees I’ll stay.

It is this day of fasting

That I look to You above

You are my heavenly Father

Who have given all Your love

Once again I thank You

For the grace you’ve given me

And once again I offer

All this to you my plea

I promise that I will serve You

From now until the end

I offer You my life

My eternal friend.

This is a beautiful poem,Kathryn. What an incredibly awesome blessing- that through Christ we have access into His holy presence! I am thinking this would also make a very tender song as well. ~Zach
