Blinded by darkness

Though I'm blinded by darkness,
It's the only thing I want to see.
Lost all devotion, can any light hold me?
The anger of a crowd forming,
I think the mob is angry with me,
The monster they created,
But can't take responsibility for.
How they easily destroyed, only because they can make much more.
Made from humans,
I am only human, no more.
No emotions can ever be taken for granted.
They way I feel when i smile.
A fist raised in revenge.
But those memories I decide to keep,
They can't pull me away from reality,
Like the time when it was dark out,
The only two things that were up,
It was me and the moon.
Beautiful memory, hours soon consumed.
Though I'm blinded by darkness,
I don't know how to live any other way,
Nothing new was shown.
If i knew what to care for,
I would not give it the time,
Cause I'd on the constant battle,
Fighting for my life,
But love is a different subject,
Way to tender to conversate about,
It can be found anywhere,
Some say even in the depths of hell.
Though I'm blinded by darkness,
I'd rather be blind and cannot see,
No understanding for the crimes against humanity,
A slave to society.
Value is only scaled by the individual. |
