Until they come calling, I'll collect dust.
Should the dust become one thick layer.
It will become skin,
I'm sure the winds will blow, blow it from me.
Until my calling, and I'm needed again.
Should that wind, never blow,
I'll know my time for being needed,
Has become dangerously low.
I just may be, dust in the wind.
I do more than stand, I fight and defend.
Anything that makes the wind blow, is not a friend.
And ever if my soldier's duty is done,
I will know I've found true love.
Though a soldier's duty, is never complete.
I'll be myself, and not a hero,
Because I'll be fighting for love.
