"You have potential."
Is what they said to me.
If I truly beleive.
I can actually be somebody.
Instead of being happy, having nothing.
"Writing with a passion.
Just isn't good enough for me."
"Oh yeah, forget about your wisdom..
Your still nothing but a kid to me."
"So quit your hidden messages,
Write with blunt feelings,
Cause I don't like to reread everything."
How many people understand,
When people write,
It's not just about one thing.
Feeling just one emotion,
Just seems so cheap.
It may make a perfect poem,
write or article.
But not a perfect person.
Sticking to one feeling,
What happens when that feeling is lost?
Cause I love too many things,
And I hate everything.
It makes me human,
To know i'm not perfect at the end,
Something to live for,
Inspired by imperfect stangers,
More importantly, imperfect friends.
It may be another trend,
To know what dwells at the end.
There is so much left to say,
But if you really know the meaning,
Of just having an imperfect write,
You'd know there is always something to build off from.
Always having something left to think of,
Always having something waiting to be left said.
inspired by josephine m wooten's "ingrate"
