blasphemous laughter heard once again
as he is pulling on the evangelist's strings
falling from the ashes in the sky
as ashes were born from Icarus' wings,

where the puppets preach the lie,,
whispers heard in the shadows arise
immortal madness crawls to life,
ashes reborn out of deadening clay,

follow the gospel of the eternal lie,
where he continues to pull their strings,
gather among the hybrid congregation,
as everyone gets again in line,

lies spoken, shit from the mouth,
rolling off the lips of the blasphemy,
that comes within season as death may die,
the blaphemous laughing pull on strings,,
where they crawl from puppet to master,

healing they come, healing they will not get,
shit on their knees as they pray to the Fish-God
only for the blood across their throats to flow,
follow them to the hybrid congregation,
everyone gets blindly into lines,
faceless from birth and into death,
further from the truth they awaken,
in flames that become from the fires of hell,,

hell's from below the sea, Dagon watching thee
the unseen God pulling the preacher's strings,,
where they hear the hymns of the hybrid congregation,,
in stranger eons, which may draw from the eternal lie
there in the spoken prayers, even death may die,
in the sermons of the dying jester, coming forever may
in the fog I watch them pray, watch the hybrid children pray,

writings from the grave

Every time I read this I see Dragon, not Dagon. I have no clue why, prolly cuz I'm dyslexic. An intriguing write nonetheless and have enjoyed reading it many times.
