When you are going through a long and lonely valley; stop and rest and start quoting scriptures. That always calm
down......It works every time.

In The Valley
By Myrtle Poor
 Copyright 2009

 I walked through,
The Valley of the shadow of death,
I met the Lord there
As I sit down to rest,

I walked in a meadow there
So peaceful and cool.
I saw a little lake there,
So beautiful and clear.

I sit down for a minute
And peace flooded my heart.
I knew the Lord was with me
And had been from the start.

My feet dangles
In the cool water so clear.
As peace settles on me
I can feel him so near.

The Lord is with me always
He lives in my heart.
He tells me he is with me
And will never depart.
