Desparation overdrive
If only I......
Then I'll arrive
Into what.......

Searching for some holy grail
Sacrificing tomorrow
Tumbling toward hell
Not needing anyone to follow

If only I.......
could see my dreams
Abundant life waiting
in the Living Stream

No time to jump in
I've got to go
No time for anything
Not even the healing flow

If only I......
can climb one more rung
If only I........
had time to die
to self
to sin
to all the pain
that lies within

If only I......
turn around, every now and then.....
If only I......
the victory is mine to win

If only I......
get a little bit crazy
If only I......
all my life is torn apart

Twisting yet turning
deep within me
an unquenchable burning
what are the demons, I'm trying to flee

If only I.....
was free to love
bound by shackles
not from above

A voice crying out in the wilderness
Is it calling for me?
What is it that's coming
Should I embrace it or should I flee

If only......
then the truth plows me down
The voice I hear calling
Is the King, will I surrender my self-made crown?

He's calling me out of the darkness
out of the wilderness, out of the never ending night
Joy washes over me
as I step into His marvelous light.
