I had a great relationship with this lady. Kate was her name.

I don’t care if the sun don’t shine every mornin’.

I got a sweet lovin’ angel at home

That makes every day bright.

Six days a week she waits alone without scournin’.

‘Cuz the seventh is ours

And she knows we’re gonna do it right!

CHORUS:   Ahhhh…sweet lovin’ angel

You don’t have to worry ‘bout

   Bein’ alone for long.

   ‘Cuz playin’ this six-string

   Don’t mean a damned thing

If you ain’t along to help with a song.

So keep your arms open wide.

   I’m burnin’ up the highway

   Mile after mile

And I know I’m gonna make it home

   Before the sun goes down.

I can see you standin’ there, waitin’ on the front porch cryin’.

But those tears in your eyes will be gone

By the time I’m home.

You’re hidin’ those feelins’ inside

But I know your dyin’.

And you’ve had it to here bein’ where

You’re left all alone.

Glad you call her your sweet lovin angel. She deserves it by being home alone and waiting for you. Good dedication poem to her.
