Have you ever hiked through the forest in the fall? This is what you might see.

Autumn Leaves 

Wind gently rocks
Sleepy trees to sleep.
As they drift off,
Deep green leaves
Of summer fade.
Bright, autumn leaves
Appear.
Gold, copper, and bronze,
Now, rustle with the breeze.
A sigh is heard
As each leaf
Nods itself off its perch,
Floating ever so gently
To Mother Earth below.
Soon, only hush
Of wind
Can be heard
Among sleeping trees.
