This is my first serious poem, that I wrote for my great grandmothers funeral and read it out during the ceremony.
In Loving Memory.

A Million Memories Paint the Walls,
But it feels they've gone too fast.
Although sometimes they cause us pain,
No one would change the past.

The times we've had are dear to me,
I'll treasure them always.
Her eternal spirits given life,
by my memories for all my days.

They say that tears are price for passage,
to the better place she goes.
No better gift that we can give;
the product of our woes.

So now she flies up to the skies,
and with her takes our love.
She is not gone, she  watches us,
and guides us from above.
