Dedicated to my great grandfather. Rest in peace.

My sense of humour, my love of life,
these things I got from you.
I could walk the earth a thousand years,
yet not repay what you're due.

You guided me through early years,
made me who I am today,
and I have only one regret,
one thing I have left to say.

Thank you for always being there,
I will miss and still love you.
Not just the greatest grandfather,
you were my best friend too.

Beautiful, heartwarming tribute to a fine man, a mentor, for you to carry forward and share...
