Some things just aren't meant to happen in a war. That doesn't mean they won't.

It’s Raji’s boy from down the street
The one who brings water to Nonni
He had no sense, just heart
To brave the guns of twice the fleet

Keep your head down
Move away
Learn to breath
Another day

US screams “What have we done?”
Have they not seen their planes?
Their bombs?
That hit a rash of sites, not one?

Keep your head down
Move away
Learn to breath
Another day

The white headed bird holds things of war
Like the Sahaba and Jafria
But the battleground is our home
And they’ve lost what they’re fighting for

Keep your head down
Move away
Learn to breath
Another day

Peace is what our doctrines teach
Both Shiite and Sunni
Not war like Christians’
Bloodied histories teach

Keep your head down
Move away
Learn to breath
Another day

It’s Raji’s boy from down the street
Nonni had no water
Asked the boy to fetch it
The medics found a head and feet

Keep your head down
Move away
Learn to breath
Another day
