I don't know how you would categorize this. Anyway, I was bored and decided to write a poem using the five senses. Comments, reviews, questions, or posts of any kind are appreciated.

I hear the wind sigh

I hear a whispered lie

I hear a storm

I hear this is beyond the norm

I feel such sorrow

I feel like I won’t make it to tomorrow

I feel waves crash

I feel my life gone in a flash

I smell something foul afoot

I smell fire, and soot

I smell a large war camp

I smell the ground, it’s damp

I taste blood

I taste water of a flood

I taste things I can’t feel

I taste cold steel

I see my end is here

I see I have nothing left to fear

I see there is nothing I can do

I see my end, but caused by who?

Your poems seems to tell of your past, with little future for you. This is sad as there is much in this world that is good and beautiful. I cannot say that I understand your feeling because I cannot. Only through your poetry does the truth come out.
