I wrote this poem in the widows peak of the Copula room at the 1833 House bed and breakfast in Mystic CT.

It’s raining tonight in New England. A cool September breeze blowing through the window. The rain drops falling with a pitter patter rhythm through the trees. We drove home in virtual silence your sadness like the rain falling upon your lap. A break in the Autumn sun…….. Shows me just how vulnerable you feel and makes me love you even more. Ill hold you in my arms and feel your rain drops touch my body Knowing your Autumn sun will shine upon me again tomorrow. When we wake with the new day. A new road to travel together. It’s raining some where tonight in New England. A cool September breeze blowing through the window, and makes me love you even more. D.Casabonne ©9.19.06 All Rights Reserved

Some really good imagery here. I felt the wind and the rain.
