Dream

I awoke from the dream. Stark nothingness in my eyes. My hands numb from the pain of sleep. I walked through a river down a mountain. Where the earth and water met the sky. A deep dark pool in a lush green forest. An elegant banquet for the eyes. Mountain ramparts city streets country roads all in vivid detail. So real when you touch the trees feel the cool water. You wish the surreal sereneness was forever. My hands numb from the pain of sleep. Stark nothingness in my eyes. I awoke from the dream. D.Casabonne © 5.14.2003 All Rights Reserved

It was a wonderful dream. Pity sometimes we have to wake up. Well done.
