Let us stay this way

Let us stay this way
Let us lay here beneath the trees
Let us lay here and be deaf to the pleas
Let us live on inside this void for you and me
Let us stay this way for ever so please

Just Let us stay this way
Let us lay here as the time passes us by
Let me lay here before I say good bye
Let me lay here for a short while
Let me just lay here

Let us stay this way
Let us stay here for a short time
Let us lay here and sing a rhyme
Let us lay here forgetting this place
Just let me lay here with out a trace
Just let me lay here for awhile
Let me lay here with a cold smile

Let us lay in a simple state of bliss
Let us hold on tight of this feeling
Let us lay against one another
Let us never for get it

Let us stay in a simple state of love
Let me feel the warmth back in my heart
Let us take a simple dream and make it ours
Let us drop all our sorrows leaving the bitter behind
Let us stay in a simple dream,
As shallow as it seems

Let us lay this way
Let us lay this way in a silent stair
Let us lay this way in a silent glance
Let us lay this way in a peaceful trance
Let us lay in the silence of the moon
Let us lay in the silence of our whispers
Let us stay this way...

Let us take away all our sorrows
Let us remember always
Let us not forget.
So let us stay

Ahhhh, but it is not possible, is it? We can hope to retain a moment but it is impossible. I enjoyed the need, the desire...and I empathized...
