Beware.............

Beware of things you cannot see,
That lurk in darkened places,
They’ll seek you out and frighten you,
And you’ll never see their faces!
Ghoulish creatures roam the streets,
All Hallows Eve their night!
They feed on fear and innocence,
And thrive on horrible frights!
Some of them may not be foe,
But can you tell which ones?
It’s too late if you blindly trust,
By then the deed is done!
So be careful when you venture out,
And remember this advice,
Evil follows you everywhere,
On the darkest Halloween Night!

That's why I stay home and drink beer on Halloween. The kiddies get extra and I'm ghoul proofed. Patrick

Okay. That's it. Uh huh. I'm scared. Turn on all the light in the house. Unsheathe my wasp and hornet killer from its hidy place. Great weapon. Zap! Right in the eye of whatever goblin ventures anywhere near here. That'll take the hobgoblin outta 'em.

Is this a tale to tell children or words that we as good people should read and remember as, truly, there are "Ghoulish creatures roam the streets." Very good poem, Annabel.
