Warm sunshine beaming in through the windows...sparkling on the disappearing snow...daydreaming of warmer days senses are coming alive after a long winter's sleep...giggle...

I hear…
Willows whispering on a summer breeze,
Ripples tickling the shore by the lake!
I see…
Fragrant meadows in vibrant hues
Butterflies, tranquillity in their wake!
I feel…
The warmth of the sun neath a canopy of blue
White clouds like dreams drifting by!
I touch…
The breeze making wildflowers dance
As it’s tossed to the earth from the sky!
I smell…
Sun warmed earth, neath a solid old oak
Where life makes sense to me!
I taste
The sweet bouquet of a warm spring day
And to think …all of this for free!

Anna, my far northern friend, that of which you write, so eloquently, sounds like Southern California near year around, but for you dear friend, I'll be only too happy to send some of our summer breezes your way causing your wild flowers to dance.
