The Pinball

Just a little more phoolish philosophy!

My life is like a pinball game
As I've bounced from post to pillar
They said "Watch out for that first step"
Sure as heck-it was a killer

I looked to neither left or right
As I stepped into life's fray
And bounced 'round like some fool pinball
Common sense could not allay

No matter how I played the game
My life was out of kilter
And the reason very simply is-
I've always been a "tilter"

So I'm going to change my tactics
'Cause I'm beaten black and blue
I think I'll try a different tack
And see what those flippers do!

Been there myself but the flippers just send you back to try a new path.

But the pinball machine was a fun thing to play and in many ways better than going out and playing with guns. A nice write on an old pastime.
