A celebration of having survived one more winter...

My 'Cabin Fever's' gone again
As the warm sun shines through my widow pane
In a brilliant-burnished-golden ball
The proof that Spring's rebirth is all

The welcome H-ronk of returning geese
The puff-ball clouds-just like flying fleece
And soon, I'll see my friend-black crow
The surest sign of rebirth I know

Soon, I'll be dressed in the purest joy
A sign that I am 'Nature's Boy'
All this has broken winter's spell
And released me from that frozen Hell!

So true, spring is the greatest release from prison's winter.

Very uplifting, John. Reminds me of when I was growing up in the Peace River country of northern Alberta. Thanks for sharing. Love and peace to you. Regis
